A LITTLE ABOUT BESS

I was appointed a Civil Celebrant in 2006 and have been enjoying my “celebrant role” since then. I love creating and performing ceremonies. I am an MC (Master of Ceremonies) for corporate and private functions. I am a volunteer community speaker for The Heart Foundation Victoria and have presented over 35 speaking engagements to various groups and corporate around Melbourne… an ongoing effort. I also volunteer for the Royal Children’s Hospital Good Friday Appeal where I send out a message to the community (in Greek and English) asking for donations.

I am happily married - my family provide me with so much of my natural happiness. I have two adult children (daughter Angie and son Theodore) and two little granddaughters. I have good standards of dress, grooming and presentation... and I love dark chocolate !

My qualifications include; Business Studies in PR, Human Relations certificate, Professional public speaking, Master of Ceremonies. I have a marketing background and thoroughly enjoy public speaking and being able to inform and motivate people so they think about their lives and their achievements. I also speak Greek fluently and have officiated at a number of English/Greek weddings.

My love of community services gives me the opportunity to be a 'voice' for all sorts of causes…
